Branding a global publisher addressing smart practice in day-to-day export compliance.


The Brief

Export Compliance Manager shares the know-how of experienced professionals, keeping its readers on top of developing best practice in trade compliance. We were tasked with creating a new brand and website that would be a true representation of the knowledge that is on offer in their journal, which is published 10 times per year.

Our Approach

Working closely with the marketing and management team, we delivered an overall concept that captured the essence of the brand, a leading voice in the export compliance industry. The primary typeface is a no-nonsense geometric sans serif font that brings clarity to the content and along with a striking colour palette adds impact to the brand. This visual mix from the font to the solid reds and blacks that punctuate the content reflect a no-nonsense brand that gets to the point.

A simple, yet dynamic red line helps to anchor key messages and visual assets and provides a consistent touchpoint throughout the brand collateral. The extended brand assets show the flexibility of the visual assets, and provide a strong and impactful direction for future roll-out and campaigns.
