Hagerty / Tonic Collective
The Hagerty Festival of the Unexceptional 2021 took place at Grimsthorpe Castle in Lincolnshire. The festival celebrates the ordinary, maligned and unloved cars of the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s and was in need of a brand refresh to align with it’s audience.
Taking colour prompts from the dynamic stripes of the 70s and using old Hanes manuals as inspiration, we have introduced typography and a period colour palette to help position the style and clearly define it as marvellously nostalgic .
Using photography to enhance the visual flavour of the messaging and key information boards, these tongue in cheek, witty statements help to punctuate the event with humour and help to make it mundane, yet memorable.
